Customers constantly ask how I can afford to provide such high quality products for such reasonable prices.  The answer?  Since I work out of my home, I do not pay for overhead expenses.  I pass the savings on to my customers and provide stellar floral arrangements without the mark-up of a typical commercial florist. 

Long-Lasting Arrangements

I pride myself on creating arrangements that not only reflect each clients' wishes and personality, but also those that are mechanically sound.  No matter how wonderful an arrangement may appear, it must also be skillfully assembled to ensure longevity and sturdiness.  Through the use of specific stem treatments, wiring techniques, flower insertion, water or foam treatments, and other essential steps, sturdy, steady, long-lasting floral arrangements are created.

Many florists are extremely busy running their business, or cutting costs to maintain a proper profit margin under the strains of overhead expenses, that they do not always have the time nor the funds that are required to properly prepare flowers and foliage to ensure maximum longevity.  Well before the arranging process even begins, for instance, all containers must be disinfected very well and on a consistant basis with a solution to ensure no bacteria is introduced to newly cut stems.  In addition, every single stem must be cut and treated a certain way, to sustain the stem's ability to drink water.  These steps are extremely laborious and time consuming. Furthermore, the solutions I invest in are costly, but they allow the end product several added days, or even weeks to the flowers' life span.

We have all ordered flowers at one time or another from a florist only to learn later that what the recipient received (at your expense) was sub-par.  This is why I will e-mail a picture of what I have created (per your specifications) PRIOR TO delivery.  This enables you the opportunity to view what you have purchased, and to become familiar with what the arrangement looks like PRIOR TO your friend's call to thank you!
